The Plan-T team and their partners at a planting

Meet the team.

The people putting tiny forests in the ground across Dallas-Fort Worth.

Nile Noël Nussbaumer

Co-Founder, CEO

Nile Noël Nussbaumer is an herbalist, a writer and a lover of the earth.

She studied documentary filmmaking in college before working in public relations for nearly a decade and finally moving to London to study naturopathy and western herbal medicine for four years. Upon returning to Texas, she joined forces with her father in creating Plan-T in hopes of greenifying her native Dallas. A growing concern for planetary and individual health is a driving force behind her mission to restore the harmony of nature within the community. Both Nile and Bernard share the desire to create a positive feedback loop between the city and its citizens.

Having lived on three continents and explored much of the earth along the way, she came to love nature and develop a deep connection to the forests and mountains of Switzerland where she grew up visiting often and where she now divides her time.

Bernard Lucien Nussbaumer

Co-Founder, President

Bernard Lucien Nussbaumer is an entrepreneur whose interests have led him into film and television production, impact investing, teaching, and farming. He left his native Switzerland after achieving success as a documentary filmmaker and acting teacher to pursue his broader passions in the US.

In California, his film credits include the award-winning film Chronos with Guillermo del Toro, a CBS network series and more than fifty music videos and commercials through his production company. He is currently developing several TV series and documentaries.

His lifelong passion for health and wellness led him to co-found Buda Juice, a Dallas-based 100% organic and sustainable juice company now sold in Costco, H.E.B., and Albertsons nationwide. Buda Juice uses exclusively glass bottles and composts a majority of its end product, sustainability and positive environmental impact being a core value within the company.

Bernard is an avid traveler, race-car driver, photographer, art collector, MMA devotee and yogi. He lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife of forty years. He is father to four children, one of whom, Nile, is his Plan-T co-founder, and grandfather to one. He spends his weekends in East Texas planting trees for the next generation.
