A. Alexander Gillan, Alex, founded Gillan Global Ventures in 2004 while attending Southern Methodist University to provide startup and established businesses with the resources and guidance to create and add value in the local and global marketplace. Since then Gillan Global Ventures has also had internal startups in waste management, real estate and technology.
Alex has always had a passion for the environment, which is what brought him to Plan-T. He sits on four NGO boards spanning from Texas to South Asia.
Alex lives in Dallas, TX and is a native of Chicago, IL. His travels and explorations have taken him to 54 countries. In his free time he enjoys traveling, learning, problem solving, working with veterans and spending time with his wife Lauren and their two King Charles Cavaliers.
